Terms of Service
Last updated 3 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Trioflowlabs Ltd ("Binge Fluent", "we") when you use bingefluent.com, the Binge Fluent web app and browser extension (together, the "Service"). They are written to be read; if anything is unclear, ask us at support@bingefluent.com.
1. Who we are
Trioflowlabs Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales. You can contact us at support@bingefluent.com.
2. What the Service is — and isn't
- Binge Fluent is a learning layer: dual subtitles, tap-to-translate, quizzes and a word deck built around shows you already have access to.
- We do not provide the shows. You need your own access to any streaming service you use Binge Fluent with, and you must follow that service's terms. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by YouTube, Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, Crunchyroll or any other platform.
- The Service is in active development. Features may change, and some platforms we aim to support may not be supported yet.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 13 to use the Service, and 18 to buy a subscription (or have a parent or guardian buy it).
- Sign-in is with Google, Apple or a code emailed to you. The code is for you alone — we will never ask you for it, and neither should anyone else.
- One account is for one person. Keep the email account you sign in with secure.
4. Plans, trials and billing
| Plan | Price |
|---|---|
| Pro monthly | US$8.99 every month |
| Pro quarterly | US$22.99 every 3 months |
| Pro annual | US$59.99 every year |
- Prices are in US dollars. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay; where tax applies it is shown there.
- We may offer a 7-day free trial with a card on file, or a 3-day free trial without a card. A card trial converts to a paid plan when it ends unless you cancel first; we email you before that happens. A no-card trial simply ends.
- From time to time we may offer a discounted first year (for example US$39.99). The offer, if any, is stated at checkout and applies only to the period it names; the plan renews at the standard price after that.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Payments are taken by Stripe from the payment method you provided.
- If we change a price, we will email you at least 30 days before it applies to your next renewal, and you can cancel before then.
5. Cancelling and refunds
- You can cancel at any time in Settings → Payment, with no need to contact us. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for, and you are not charged again.
- 14-day right to cancel. If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you may cancel within 14 days of starting a paid subscription. Because the Service starts immediately at your request, if you cancel within those 14 days we refund the price minus a proportionate amount for the days you had access. Email us to use this right.
- Outside that period, payments for a period already started are not normally refunded, but if something has gone wrong — you were charged by mistake, or the Service did not work for you — email us and we will put it right.
- Nothing here limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- copy, resell, rent or sublicense the Service, or share one account between several people;
- reverse engineer, scrape or bulk-download the Service's content, translations or quizzes;
- use the Service to break the law or another platform's terms, including bypassing any platform's copy protection;
- interfere with the Service's security, rate limits or other users.
7. Content and ownership
- The Service — its software, design, translations, glosses and quiz content — belongs to us or our licensors.
- Your learning data (your deck, progress, profile) is yours; you give us the permission needed to store and show it back to you.
- Demo clips are from the Blender Foundation's open films Sintel and Big Buck Bunny, used under their Creative Commons licences.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available but cannot promise it will never be interrupted — for maintenance, for reasons outside our control, or because a platform we work alongside changes. We may add, change or remove features. If we withdraw the Service entirely, we will give paying users at least 30 days' notice and refund any period not yet used.
9. Our responsibility to you
- We provide the Service with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot be limited by law, and nothing removes your rights as a consumer.
- Beyond that, we are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable when you agreed to these terms, for business losses, or for problems caused by the streaming services you use. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the problem arose.
10. Ending the agreement
You can stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing us. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after telling you why unless the law prevents it; if we close your account without cause, we refund any period not yet used.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction — except that if you live elsewhere as a consumer, you keep the protections of your local law and may bring claims in your local courts. Talk to us first: most problems are fixed with one email.
12. Changes to these terms
When these terms change we update the date at the top. For changes that affect your rights or what you pay, we email account holders at least 30 days before they take effect.
